Delete account removes your entire Hands account and every associated Hand — not merely the Hand you have selected. This is irreversible. Review the consequences and save anything you need before proceeding.
Before you delete the account
- Export your account data if you want to keep an account record.
- Open Files for each Hand and download important workspace files. They are not part of the JSON account export.
- Preserve any other information you need outside Hands; a checkpoint is not a way to restore a deleted account.
- Verify that no Hand is still being built or already being deleted. Account deletion is blocked during those operations.
- Make sure you signed in within the last 15 minutes. If your authentication is older, sign out and sign back in before confirming.
Permanently delete the account
- Open the Hands Console.
- Go to Profile → Account → Your data. On a phone, use the round profile icon at the top and scroll the account tabs sideways if needed.
- Select Delete account in the Your data panel.
- Read the Delete your entire account? dialog and its warning about Hands and files.
- Type the displayed email address in the confirmation field. You can use the adjacent copy icon to obtain the confirmation text.
- Select the final Delete account button. Keep the page open while Deleting… or another progress message is displayed.
You can choose Cancel before the final confirmation. Once processing starts, it is no longer an ordinary cancellable request. A successful deletion redirects you away from the Console.
What will happen?
Permanent deletion removes account-owned Hands, sandboxes, workspace files, checkpoints, stored connector credentials and linked devices. Existing sessions are revoked, active calls are ended, and available connected-provider grants are revoked or cleaned up. Any existing Stripe plan and a separate Computer Plus subscription, where present, are terminated as part of account deletion; this is not the same as Cancel at period end.
There is no restore button for the deleted Hands and files. Deletion also does not mean every financial, legal or operational record disappears at the same instant: credit ledger records may remain for legal, refund and dispute reconciliation. See the privacy statement for the relevant data-handling information. The Console makes no promise that all backups or other systems are erased immediately.
Common questions and failure recovery
Can I delete only one Hand? Yes. Follow Delete one Hand. That action keeps your account and subscription; Delete account always applies to your whole account.
Why is confirmation rejected? Check that the address matches and that you have signed in recently. Wait until any Hand creation or Hand deletion completes.
Deletion failed. Is everything untouched? Do not assume so. Some sessions or resources may already have been removed before a failure. Read the error, retry through the supported account flow when possible, and contact support if the account remains in a failed state. Do not assume deletion completed until the Console confirms it.
Will I automatically receive a refund? Account deletion is neither a refund request nor a refund guarantee.
