Delete Hand permanently removes one selected Hand. It is not the same as deleting your account: your account and subscription remain active, even if this was your last Hand.
Before deleting the Hand
- Select the Hand you intend to remove and check its name carefully.
- Download any workspace files you need. The Hand’s files and checkpoints cannot be restored after deletion.
- Record any connection information you need outside Hands. Credentials stored for this Hand are removed; access or records held by an external provider can have their own lifecycle.
- End or save work that is still in progress. Deletion stops active work and calls for this Hand.
Deleting the Hand also removes its workspace, checkpoints, stored connector credentials and Hand-specific connection records. It does not delete another Hand, your Hands account, or your subscription. Provider access shared with another Hand is not promised to be revoked by this one-Hand action.
Permanently delete the selected Hand
- Open the Hands Console, select the correct Hand and go to My Hand → Danger Zone.
- Under Delete this Hand, choose Delete Hand….
- Read the warning and confirm that the displayed name is the Hand you intend to remove.
- Type that Hand name exactly. The final Delete Hand button remains unavailable until it matches.
- Choose Delete Hand and keep the dialog open while the Hand and workspace are being deleted.
Choose Cancel before the final action to leave the Hand unchanged. Once processing begins, there is no ordinary undo or restore action.
After deletion
If another Hand remains, the Console selects an available remaining Hand. If no Hands remain, it opens Account, where you can continue using the account and create a new Hand when eligible.
If deletion is unavailable or fails
- Danger Zone is unavailable: during some expired-trial recovery states, the Hand tabs are disabled and the Console directs you to Account first.
- Name does not match: copy the displayed Hand name exactly, including spaces and capitalization.
- Deletion is already running: wait for that operation to finish before retrying.
- A setup operation is still stopping: wait, refresh the Console and retry the supported deletion flow.
- An error appears after deletion started: do not assume that everything was either removed or retained. Refresh the Hand list, inspect what remains and retry only if the Console still offers the action. Use support if the state remains unclear.
