Invite & earn provides a personal link to invite others to Hands. While the programme is available, five qualified referrals may earn you a one-time seven-day trial extension. This is not Hands Credits, not seven days per friend and not an extension of a paid subscription.
Create and share your invitation link
- Sign in to the Hands Console, open Profile, then select Account → Invite & earn. You can also use Invite & earn in the profile menu.
- Select Create referral link if you do not yet have one. This creates and copies your personal link.
- Select Copy referral link to share it again in a message, email or another app.
- Check the Qualified, Pending and 5-referral progress shown on the page.
On a phone, the profile button is the round icon beside the notification bell at the top. You may also see a How was your experience? invitation dialog. Use Invite friends for the phone’s share sheet when supported, or Copy link. How it works opens the full referral page; Not now closes the dialog.
What makes a referral qualify?
A click or signup by itself is not a qualified referral. Under the current programme rules, the invited person must:
- Use your referral link so attribution is recorded on their new account.
- Have a verified account.
- Have a ready Hand.
- Have at least one connected connector for that Hand, or an eligible active Nango binding.
Only then can a referral move from Pending to Qualified. Self-referrals are rejected and a new attribution cannot replace an existing different one. The counter reflects verified qualifications, not the number of messages sent.
When are the seven days granted?
After five qualified referrals, an eligible trial account that has not already converted to a paid plan can receive one +7-day extension. The Console displays whether it has been unlocked, with its reward dates when available. The days can follow the current free period rather than starting immediately after the fifth referral. Paid or already-converted accounts do not receive seven extra paid subscription days.
The invitation dialog can appear once after the first voice call and once on the third sign-in, provided you have a ready Hand, remain an eligible unpaid trial user and have not already earned the reward. The dialog is not shown over an active call. Sharing through the Account page does not depend on seeing that prompt.
Common questions and recovery
Why is my friend still Pending? Check that they used the referral link, verified their account, and have a ready Hand with a connected connector. Registration alone is not enough.
Why isn’t a link or reward available? The programme may be disabled for the environment. Read the status under Invite & earn rather than inventing a referral code.
Copy or share failed. Select and manually copy the visible link; use another app if the phone’s share sheet is unavailable. Closing the dialog does not delete your link.
