A Skill defines a repeatable way of working on a task. Your Hand can use this approach when you collaborate.
What Skills are available?
Open Skills in the Hands Console. There are two views:
- Personal: Skills you add yourself.
- Built in: Skills already provided for you.
You can search available Skills and use the plus button to add a Skill.
When is a Skill used?
For personal Skills, you can choose whether your Hand may suggest them or use them only when you explicitly request them. The exact controls appear when managing the Skill.
A Skill describes how to perform a task. To use an external app, your Hand may also need a suitable integration.
Step-by-step guides
- Add a Skill with SKILL.md — upload a folder or single file, or paste the instructions.
- Choose when your Hand uses a Skill — set a personal Skill to require an explicit command.
