If you want to stop using a linked phone temporarily or remove its connection to your Hands account, use Pause, Resume or Unlink in Devices. These actions are not interchangeable, especially when you have multiple Hands.
Pause managed access for all Hands
- Open the Hands Console and go to Devices.
- Find your linked Android phone and open Device actions (or its corresponding icon control).
- Choose Pause for all Hands.
- Confirm that the phone status changes to Paused. This temporarily suspends the Hands-managed mobile connections across your account.
- When you want to resume using the same enrollment, select Resume for all Hands.
Pausing does not remove the phone from your account. The Console may still report that it is withdrawing connections from individual Hands; cleanup can take longer if a Hand is unavailable. Check the binding status rather than treating a click as proof that every remote connection has already been removed.
Unlink the phone completely
- Open Device actions for the phone.
- Select Unlink device from all Hands.
- Read the confirmation containing the phone’s name, then confirm only if you intend to revoke the enrollment.
- The phone is no longer an active registered device and may appear under History. Cleanup of existing Hand bindings can remain pending.
- If you want managed phone access again later, repeat the Hands Mobile sign-in and pairing flow.
You can hide a historical entry with Remove from history only after the withdrawal has completed. Removing this entry is not a second security-revocation action.
Choose the right action
| What you want | Action |
|---|---|
| Temporarily stop access through all your Hands | Pause for all Hands, followed later by Resume |
| Disable access for one particular Hand | Enable or disable per Hand |
| Revoke the phone’s account enrollment | Unlink device from all Hands |
| Remove a permission granted by Android | Change it on the Android phone |
Important: these controls manage Hands-owned connections. They do not automatically revoke Android OS permissions or uninstall Hands Mobile from your phone. Review manually created MCP connections separately under Integrations. A connection on an offline Hand can take additional time to withdraw.
If the status is unclear, open Hands Mobile, check the network and choose Refresh devices. Also see Connectivity troubleshooting and Set up Hands Mobile permissions.
