An MCP connector lets your Hand use tools hosted by an external MCP server. It differs from a Hands Plugin, which has a prepared Hands-managed connection flow. Connectors is a curated directory, not a complete list of all MCP servers on the internet.
Search the connector directory
- Open the Hands Console, select your Hand, and go to Integrations → Connectors.
- Search by service name, category, or task. You can also narrow the list using the category filter.
- Browse results; use Next and Previous to move between catalog pages.
- Inspect a connector to learn what it offers and what kind of authorization it needs.
- Check Plug-ins as well. If Hands offers a prepared Plugin for the service, that may be a simpler starting point.
Connections already set up for your Hand can appear before the directory results. Use the Connected, Needs attention, or Not connected status filters to focus on the relevant entries.
Connect a listed service
When a supported connector offers Connect, choose it and follow the displayed authorization steps. A directory entry does not mean you already have access, that every tool is enabled, or that the provider supports every permission mode. The service may require its own login, API key, or account approval.
Return to Connectors to check the current connection state. Open its Settings for the available tools and access controls. Try a harmless read task before relying on the connection. For setup and access choices, see Connect an MCP server securely.
Can’t find the server?
If your account and Hand support custom MCP, select + / Add custom MCP and enter a compatible server endpoint yourself. You will need to verify the address, the service operator, and the correct authorization method.
When you no longer need an MCP connection, open its Settings and use Pause or Disconnect, if offered. Not every catalog entry is available to every Hand or account.
